Some days the daily routine takes over and The Photographic Vision’o’Tron™ is given little to work with. That’s when I bring out the big guns, namely the 80mm macro lens.
With the reach it gives us we can isolate and abstract whatever poor photons paths enter lens–sensor–retina–brain.
Those few minutes, that half hour of lunch break… it’s nice to spend it walking outside, even if it’s negative 13° and the grey cloud layer feels like it might as well be a meter above your head.

Snow in abundance this winter. After a few meagre ones we finally have them like I remember from my childhood: insurmountable amounts of white.
